Looking at a career in Engineering or Information Technology or Agricultural Science or Environmental Science or Finance and Communications?
Need Funds for Study?
Want to complete your study with a job lined up after graduation?
Coleambally Irrigation Cooperative Ltd (CICL) in conjunction with the Country Education Foundation of Coleambally-Darlington Point is offering a scholarship for students studying Engineering or Information Technology or Agricultural Science or Environmental Science or Finance and Communications in 2026. The students need not necessarily be in the first year of their course.
The students would apply for a Country Education Foundation of Coleambally-Darlington Point education grant for 2026 and if successful in being awarded a CICL Grant Latta Scholarship will be funded by CICL on the following basis:
If the recipient is a first-year student, they will receive $6000 for that year, increasing to $9000 per year for the remainder of the course.
If the recipient is a second (3rd or 4th) Year student, they will receive $9000 for that year and per year for the remainder of the course.
The recipient will receive their scholarship funds through Country Education Foundation of Coleambally-Darlington Point on the provision of invoices or receipts for expenses relating to their study – for example, accommodation, texts, specialist equipment, travel …
The recipient would be required to work for CICL for a period of time during the main summer and winter vacations each year. They would be paid for this work. They would be required to work for CICL post- graduation for a period the same as their years of study (dependent on whether they receive the scholarship from year one.) If the recipient chose not to work for CICL, or leave during this time they would be required to refund the scholarship or a portion thereof.
The recipient can study at any University he/she chooses. The student would be required to make satisfactory progress throughout the course.
